Our Lodging Recommendations
We recommend staying at La Isla de la Toja in the Rias Biaxas region to be close to the beaches, monastery, and reception venue. La Toja offers the options of three separate hotels at different price points (code: BODAEYC), and there will be a bus leaving from La Toja taking guests to the monastery, reception venue, and back. Sanxenxo is another nearby beach town with clubs, shops, and hotels. Lastly, Santiago de Compostela is another convenient option, especially for those traveling to Spain as Vigo and Santiago offer airports to fly into from Madrid. Santiago de Compostela has more dining options, salons, and accommodations, but is approximately 45 minutes from the monastery.

Is the wedding child-friendly?
While we love your little ones, this wedding will be an adult only event! Enjoy a kid free night and come celebrate with us!
What time is the ceremony?
We anticipate the ceremony being in the evening around 5:30 pm, however, will update the website once an official time is confirmed.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony will be held indoors at a beautiful historic monastery. Following the ceremony, guests will be invited to enjoy cocktails outdoors in a covered setting before gathering indoors for dinner and dancing.
August in Spain is typically warm and pleasant, with daytime temperatures in the low 70s and evenings cooling to the mid-to-low 60s.
When is the RSVP deadline?
You are welcome to RSVP as early as save the dates are received, however, we do ask that RSVPs are finalized 2 months prior to the wedding date.

Is parking available at the monastery and reception venue?
Parking at both the monastery and reception venue is very limited. We kindly recommend taking a taxi or using the provided wedding buses. With an open bar throughout the evening, we encourage all guests to plan accordingly and enjoy the festivities safely.
